IELTS Test


The International Language Testing System

IELTS is owned and operated by three organizations: British Counsil, IDP IELTS Australia, and University of Cambridge. It has two types: 1) Academic 2) General. The academic IELTS should be taken to attend a university whereas IELTS General is needed for professional business or immigration purposes. IELTS is the most commonly taken English proficiency test. Students who wish to study in Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and USA.

The academic IELTS measures students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities in an academic context. The speaking test is conducted on a different day than the other three components. Speaking test is in a one-on-one interview format.
